At Thrilled Home Builders, our story is woven from the legacy of Leadership Properties of Northwest Arkansas, a company synonymous with distinctive, elegant residential developments that harmonize with the breathtaking landscape of Northwest Arkansas. Founded in 2014 by partners Bob David and Julie Vaught, Leadership Properties embarked on a mission to create communities that resonate deeply with the people who call them home. From our original development project, Oak Tree Community in Centerton, through to the acclaimed Scissortail and Aurora communities in Rogers, our journey has been driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and the creation of meaningful connections.
Our Legacy of Excellence
The genesis of Thrilled Home Builders was marked by a pivotal moment in 2023, when the future of Sapphire Homes—and its exclusive building agreement within the Harmony neighborhood of the Aurora community—stood at a crossroads. Recognizing the opportunity to continue and elevate this legacy, Bob David and Julie Vaught made the strategic decision to acquire Sapphire Homes, rebranding it to Thrilled Home Builders. This move was not merely a business decision; it was a pledge to uphold the high standards of community development and homebuilding excellence that have become the hallmark of Leadership Properties.
MEET OUR FOUNDERS
Bob David brings over three decades of rich experience in real estate brokerage, property development, and construction, primarily in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before extending his expertise to Northwest Arkansas. As the founder of Leadership Properties of Tulsa and later, Leadership Properties of Northwest Arkansas, Bob's vision has always been to create spaces that are more than just places to live. His commitment to excellence in development has culminated in the creation of communities where life's best moments can unfold.
Julie Vaught, a Fayetteville local and University of Arkansas alum, has been deeply embedded in the NWA community for over 25 years. With a background in the Title & Closing industry and a passion for community development, Julie's partnership with Bob David has been instrumental in realizing the vision of Leadership Properties in Northwest Arkansas. As Co-Founder, Julie brings a local insight and a meticulous approach to the ongoing development of our communities, ensuring each project not only meets but exceeds our residents' expectations.
